The trail from Kurvande near Khandala is a gentle 4 km round trip to a dramatic cliff that juts over the valley. At 975 metres the top gives you sweeping views of the Mumbai-Pune corridor and the ghats below, and it is a favourite spot for rappelling groups too. Khandala station is barely 3 km away, so it is easy to do without a car. Monsoon makes it spectacular, though the rocks get slippery.
